We are pleased to announce our first Dual Book Launch Event at the Kew & the Sheen Bookshops on Wednesday 24th May at Kew and Thursday 25th at Sheen, both events are starting at 6.30pm. £2 entry fee, but the £2 ticket price is redeemable against the price of the book !!

Come and meet award winning author Emma Henderson for an informal talk about her latest novel. It is a deeply involving, intriguing novel telling the story of an English family through the generations and a memorable French woman, whose lives seem worlds apart yet which become inextricably connected.

We are pleased to announce our first Poetry Event at the Kew Bookshop on Thursday 18th May starting at 6.30pm.

Renowned Poet and Performance Artist Tina Sederholm will be performing her latest Show piece ‘Everything Wrong With You is Beautiful‘. She will be accompanied by Poet Emily Harrison on the night for an evening of poetry and humour.

Jennie and Jess booksWe are proud to present a wonderful event with two local authors on Thursday 4th May. Jessica Duchen, author of Ghost Variations, a detective story set between the Two Wars and Jennie Ensor, author of Blind Side, a thriller set during the 7/7 bombings. There will be a 45 minute interview, where the authors will discuss their stories and the similar themes that run between then, followed by a Q&A.

QUIZ NIGHT with ALAN CONNOR & THE KEW BOOKSHOP

We’re extremely excited about our forthcoming event – a special quiz-night at the ‘Tap on the Line’ pub, our very own pub next door, in honour of our local quiz-master Alan Connor, who will be hosting and asking the questions.
