About the Event

Tree expert Paul Wood is one of the four founders of the Urban Tree Festival. He is the author of several books about trees in London: London Tree Walks, London is a Forest,  London's Street Trees, and Great Trees Of London Maps .

On 8th August, he will bring his hugely popular walking tour to Brentford, taking you an informative walk from Syon Lane station on a route that will pass many different street trees, and will end up at Hewson Books Brentford for refreshments and a book signing.

Due to the nature of this event, we have only 25 spots available, so book now to avoid disappointment. Tickets are a nominal £5 which can be redeemed against the price of any of Paul's books.

About the book: The first guide of its kind to reveal the amazing variety of London's street trees, Paul Wood's brilliant and acclaimed book sold out three printings in its first 2017 edition, two more in its expanded 2020 edition, and in 2024 is republished yet again in a completely revised and further extended edition. This revised and expanded edition of London’s Street Trees is the only guide to London’s incredible urban forest, once you read this book, you will never see London in the same way again.
