Hewson Books has been around for just over one year, trading at The Kew Bookshop and The Sheen Bookshop, and it’s fair to say that we have had quite a successful first year. So we would like to extend out heartfelt thanks and good wishes to all our loyal customers who have helped to create two thriving local bookshops in this part of West London.
We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us at Hewson Books, and hopefully to welcome you all back in 2018 !!
~ Adam & Wendy Hewson
We are delighted to announce that we are holding another fun-filled children’s event in our Sheen Bookshop:-
Come and meet children’s author Kate Maryon for a kids’ interactive crafts morning, in the Sheen Bookshop from 11am – 1pm. Tickets are free but please book inside to avoid disappointment !!
A fantastic and fun-filled event of poetry, wine and cupcakes last Thursday evening, with our good friends Tina and her husband, Neil, and her good poet friend Emily Harrison. Both girls brought copies of their latest books and were very free with the pen, signing them individually for any guest that desired it !!
This was our first dual discussion event with two authors effectively interviewing one another about their writing methods, and inspirations, and then taking questions from the guests attending – quite a gathering !!
Lots of people turned out for this, including a few people who turned up having seen the blackboard in our window, which proves a bit of immediate street advertising works !!
